Founded in 2018, ODORES SILENTII was born out of a passion for quality teas and a desire to create an authentic croatian tea culture. Its founders – Josip, Magdalena and Antonio – set out on a mission to change the way Croatians experience and consume tea. Through carefully selected herbal blends, organically grown ingredients and a special way of serving, the brand promotes the concept of slow living. drinking tea, or creating a moment of inner peace as well as pleasant company with loved ones.
Each blend of their tea is the result of expert thought and research. The ingredients come from organic farms throughout Croatia, where each plant is hand-picked and dried under controlled conditions to preserve maximum aroma and nutritional value. The production process is based on a combination of tradition and modern methods, where herbal ingredients are carefully combined to achieve the ideal balance of taste, aroma and therapeutic effect.
Josipa was taught about tea by his father, and then he tried to pass that same knowledge on to us, and I think he succeeded. We initially started with tea drinking sets, but we soon started offering teas to enjoy with them. The teas are organic, hand-picked and entirely Croatian products grown in the Bioplanta fields near Križ. Our tea blends are enriched with organic dried fruit from local OPGs.
In addition to classics such as chamomile, mint, rosehip and lemon balm, the tea blends Gita, Vidov san, Lahor, Oranžmint and Grandma's Gift are also unique on the market and create tea ceremony experiences through the transformation of color, the return of forgotten scents and the fullness of flavor.
Tea as a ritual
One of the most recognizable aspects of the ODORES SILENTII brand are their carefully designed tea sets, hand-crafted from wood with the associated accessories. Throughout the entire production process, special attention is paid to preserving the authenticity of plants and fruits, ecological cultivation and the maximum use of recyclable materials in the packaging process.
