Changing Currents at Zagreb's Lift Club

After a long wait and an unexpected delay, the long-announced collaboration between TASTE and British DJ Changing Currents is finally coming to the Zagreb scene.

On April 11th and 12th, 2025, Lift Club will host an event that opens a new chapter for the local scene, one in which Hip-Hop and R&B finally take center stage in a space known for electronic music.

Changing Currents is known for his genre-fluid sets that skillfully blend Hip-Hop, R&B, House and experimental sounds. After performing at legendary venues like Fabric London and Worldwide Festival, his arrival in Zagreb feels like the beginning of something bigger.

He will be joined on stage by DJ Beathoven , a selector with an exceptional sense of energy and atmosphere. His sets seamlessly transition from contemporary Hip-Hop to nostalgic R&B and playful edits—often including unpredictable Balkan elements. Rounding out the line-up is XO, an unavoidable name on the Zagreb club scene, founder of Trinity Entertainment and Club Secret. His selections bring fluidity, good vibes and narrative through sound that keeps the audience on the dance floor until the last minute.

What makes this event even more special is the location itself. This will be the first Hip-Hop & R&B event ever held at Lift Club, which could mean a shift in the musical identity of the venue, and beyond.
